** also psu is not fixed anymore, glue gun didn't work properly.  will roughen the surface, clean with alcohol and then glue with locktite or 2-component epoxy

** received power supplies for the matrixes
*** one power supply died right away
*** had problems when connecting the psu gnd - with the input filter from the old switches it works; probably ground loop issue
** will get boxes from digikey to integrate each matrix with power supply
** mbed software part:  memory is too full for the large display with 4 matrices.  searching for somebody who can look at the code to imporove memory efficiency
