Open control and acquisition system
Description
Create a control and acquisition system based on hardware platforms that we build. Ideally, there are two versions: a simpler one with a micro-controller-based architecture, and a more advanced one based on a micro-processor architecture (suited high-speed control, for example).
Goals:
- Developing a platform that can be used to control any physical setup we build.
- Have a measurement system that can acquire easily data from sensors.
Main features:
- Acquire data from test-rigs from a computer (usb link, if possible).
- Control the test-rig from a computer (usb link, if possible).
- Embedded control of a test-rig (without a computer behind).
