NASA SpaceApps Hackathon

This week-end is the big NASA SpaceApps hackathon!
 
Everyone is welcome - you don't need to be a coder, being passionnate about space exploration is the only requirement. If you don't know what a hackathon really is, think of it as a marathon but for programmers, a week-end of intensive coding.
 
 
The goal is to make a project over a week-end, with all the materials that NASA will provide us. It can be a mobile application, web app, game, video, presentation, or even a physical project like a robot - anything that can address the challenges. These challenges are well-documented with a problematic to solve. It may be a good idea to select your challenge of choice [1] before the event and eventually put it on our pad [2]:
 
 
Here's the schedule for the week-end:
  • Saturday
    • 09h00 - Kick Off, presentations
    • 10h00 - choose themes, form teams
    • 10h30 - Start coding !
    • 12h00 - Lunch time
    • 16h00 - Mid challenge update
    • 19h00 - Lunch time
    • 20h00 - Coding
    • 22h00 - Closing for the night
  • Sunday
    • 10h00 - Coding
    • 12h00 - Lunch time
    • 16h00 - Submission deadline
    • 16h30 - Projects presentation and vote if applicable
Do not hesitate to drop by during the week-end and join a random team, or see what's going on as an observator.
